Lauren Ash Morgan is co-founder and artistic director of Speech of Fire, a brand new company in the field of theatre. From 2014 through 2019she was the artistic director for the Seoul Shakespeare Company. In addition to serving as the SSC's Artistic Directors, Ash-Morgan was also in the roles of producer costume/set designers composer/music directors as well as text coaches. In her final year she served as lighting designer and director in SSC's production of King Lear. She had directed from the group, but the year that she made her directorial debut. Alongside acting, she's been involved in several game shows. Daughter of the poet Marylee Post and scientist Richard F. Post she was raised along with two other children within Walnut Creek. She was a student at Las Lomas High School where she was a cheerleader. She was a student at Pomona College for a short time and then she graduated at Lewis & Clark College, both in Oregon. Post had previously been married to Stephen Knox. The couple has been together since 1982 to Michael A. Ross, who is a writer and actor with whom she shares two daughters. She is a wonderful actress as well as an ideal wife and mother Post is an inspiration for many within Hollywood.
