Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina (or Antonia) Shevchenko fights as a Kyrgyzstani Muay Thailand fighter in the flyweight division. Valentina is her older sister and a fellow UFC competitors. Antonina Shevchenko started her professional career as an Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003, at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko was the winner of the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner with a unanimous verdict. Antonina was awarded a medal of silver in 2007 followed by she also won a bronze medal in 2008 and a medal gold in the year 2011. She was also crowned IFMA World Amateur Muay Thai Champion in 2016 by the IFMA. Antonia launched her professional career back in 2003. She has taken home numerous awards, such as the World WKC K-1 Light Welterweight Championships, the Lion Fight Lightweight Championships and WMC and Phoenix FC World Championships. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas in the final round of Phoenix Fighting Championship. She was victorious by unanimity. Antonina Schevchenko broke her professional MMA records in 2002, when she faced Anara Bazanova during the KFK Championship of Kyrgystan. She went 3-0, after winning in the second round TKO. The following two bouts were won by WXF: X-Impact World Championships in 2003. Shevchenko took a break from MMA in order to concentrate on kickboxing. She returned with a win against Anissa Haddaoui in Phoenix FC 3, 2017. Shevchenko was able to defeat Anissa by a majority vote and defeated Valerie Domergue on Phoenix FC 4 in the year 2017. She left the club and began Dana White's Contender Series 2018. Shevchenko was able to take on Jaimelene Nievera as part of Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series.
