Anne Burrell
Anne W. Burrell, an American TV chef, and an former Institute of Culinary Education instructor She is also a television personality. She hosts the Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant Chef and is co-host of Worst Cooks in America. Anne Burrell's Food Network show Secrets of a Restaurant chef and her distinctive spikey blonde locks and pump up personality, provides simple techniques that anyone can master. Chef Burrell is also a part of several of the most prestigious restaurants in New York, studied the food culture and culinary traditions of Italy and competed in Food Network's Iron Chef America. While growing up in New York's upstate region, Burrell became passionate about food and cooking. After obtaining an English and Communications degree at Canisius College in Buffalo NY she was able to pursue her love of the business of restaurant by enroling at The Culinary Institute of America. The Culinary Institute of America was an unforgettable learning experience for me. The Culinary Institute of the Americas was a fantastic location to learn. Following graduation, Burrell worked at La Bottega del 30 in Tuscany and La Taverna del Lupo (in Umbria) during her time at Umbria. She also attended the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners. She gained a deeper understanding of Italian culture and cuisine while in Italy, which has influenced the way she cooks. Burrell served as a member of the Garden of Dreams Foundation Advisory Board to brighten children's lives who are facing problems. She is also a Juvenile Research Foundation Celebrity Ambassador where she advocates for the awareness of the condition known as juvenile diabetes. as a speaker, guest and teacher Burrell travels throughout the U.S. to share her culinary passion and career. Anne in all her culinary journey has stated that it's a pleasure to be in a position to share this passion for the food industry with people.
